| God anoints individuals to serve in various capacities in the church. He equips church leaders, pastors, evangelists, and lay persons with compassionate hearts and leadership skills which combine for effective ministry.
The administration of Michael Sansom Ministries International is performed at three levels.
- The international level is under the supervision of the General Overseer/President (Michael E Sansom), Vice President/Secretary General (Vicki S Sansom), the Secretary/Treasurer, and a minimum of three, but not more than twenty council members (as needed) constituting the International Executive Council of the church. The International Executive Council is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization. These leaders are appointed at the General Assembly, a biennial gathering of ministers and laity meeting for business, worship and fellowship.
- The state overseer provides leadership at the state or regional level.
- Local pastors are appointed by the state overseer in consultation and prayer with the local church and the General Overseer.
- Pseudo Leaders are recognized to overseer pseudo memberships for reporting and administrative purposes related to their involvement in Michael Sansom Ministries International. Pseudo Leaders cannot be appointed as members of the International Executive Council.
Churches and church organizations may request pseudo membership in Michael Sansom Ministries International. Pseudo members hold membership for the purpose of information gathering, joint evangelistic efforts, and joint Biblical training. In addition, pseudo members do not forfeit membership in their respective denominations. The General Overseer approves pseudo memberships to churches, church organizations, pastors, and missions. However, all other pseudo memberships must be approved by unanimous vote of the International Executive Council. The General Overseer may, at his discretion, request a confidence vote from the International Executive Council for any pseudo member appointment.
